[PRO] Re: Festival Plaza Tower 2 | 149m | 38 Levels | Office

A rooftop bar won't do much to activate the plaza, the stated purpose of this proposal.

But I do think this building should be as publicly accessible as possible, so sure, open the rooftop.

Why are there gate keepers at both North Tce entrances when there is nothing happening on site.
There always seems to be at least 10 traffic monitors across the site. I hate to think how much money's being wasted.

[PRO] Re: 188 Grenfell Street | 14lvls | 46m | Mixed Use

If you read the planning report, the proponent rejected several concerns and recommendations expressed during the pre-lodgement process about the building mass and form including the suggestion that a single tower being considered. The developer argues two towers are necessary for commercial yield a...

I highly doubt this design concept makes it even if the proposal overcomes all the hurdles.

What is the function of the big grey shed on the far east side by the botanic gardens ? (see pictures 1 and 3 of LLessor above).
Decontaimination tent. It's pressure sealed and surrounded by water misters to prevent toxic dust.

https://i.imgur.com/bC4zA8y.jpeg Not sure what the little buildings are. The larger one seems to have too much glass to be a toilet. This strange little park is now open. The glass building is a meeting/conference room presumably for Lot Fourteen tenants and the other just utility. There are no pub...

The latest update on Belles Hot Chicken is that they'll finally open their Adelaide store in April. Considering little is known of where they're opening, I'm not too convinced of this, but happy to be proven wrong. Proven wrong you are! :D Belles Hot Chicken will be located in the Netter Building o...

I know I've said it many times, but I'd rather Council address Grenfell/Grote before the other main streets.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

Isn't the rail lease holder supposed to maintain the line in working condition? If so, it shouldn't be an issue to run a special service. That was how the deal was presented at the time, to reduce backlash from giving up the line, but it's well known that there has been no enforcement of that condi...
