Why don't they have two lanes for drop off/pick up .. ie. one on the left (as now), two driving lanes (as now) and add a 4th lane on the right as a further drop off/pick up lane. Add two zebra crossings in there somewhere and then people can be spread out on the other side as well as the current sid...

Wouldn't have a clue Wayno, but I reckon this is how it will stay ... they could jazz them up by hanging some massive shade sail type canvas (like you see on some ground) with pictures embossed on them of some of SA's and Australia's sporting hero's who have graced the ground in the past and current...

Agree regarding seeing the concrete seating bank ricecrackers .. this really cheapens the look (for me) and also the big gaps between each of the 5 sections of the stand looks a little cheap .. one nice sweeping stand (no gaps) I think would look more complete .. also would definitely keep the wind ...
