[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

I was unable to get a picture tonight on my way home, the southern end of the South Road Darlington project I had changed over the day. More lines have been painted on the lower section, and the cement barriers at this point have been removed. Lower sections looks like two lanes heading north and tw...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

I keep hearing that three stations are or could be on the chopping board on the Seaford line. Has anyone else heard this information and which ones?

Looks like it’ll be the latter: all southbound traffic diverted into the trench allowing for repairs, while the current southbound surface road between Sturt and Flinders will be reduced to allow repairs. The way those lines are painted, northbound SEXY traffic will be in the trench too. Either tha...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

Here's a list of level crossings that should be removed sooner rather than later, based on a quick Google Maps scan. Removing these crossings will improve safety, efficiency, pedestrian movements, access and interchangeability. Where located close to a station, grade separation projects can include...

Confirmed by Marshall this morning on Adelaide Radio, this road construction won’t start this term. Which means we will have re-announcement of the re-announcement, how many times will this be announced before the work actually starts. it’s very clear that it won’t be done this side of the next stat...

I don't agree with the way mr knoll is handling this. But poor old Tom needs to just stay silent, there is no way a verifier is going to have been able to pick up something like this. The blame game really is a sad indictment of Australian politics. Governments pay experts to design and construct i...

Second section has now collapsed - this is shown in the picture; the one in the distance was the one from last week, the closest one is the one that happened last night. 8B5AA728-60AE-40A8-99D3-3FF7116C4E1E.jpeg You can see a nice hole between the road surface and soil on the new section too. Also, Edwardstown and Woodlands Park stations should be closed down and replaced with a new grade-separated “super station” at Castle Plaza, which would connect with the existing bus service on Raglan Ave. Increased park and ride car parks could be provided on the former industrial land facing Ragl...

Electricity is only expensive when that suits the political narrative of the day. It is not expensive if you are using it to power public transport or electric cars. If we all vote PHON, then we might get the federal government to build us a shiny new coal-fired power station which can power the de...
