Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

Closer to the interchange, or aligned with Flinders Drive. Which is already within walking distance to the station, and the station footbridge will connect to the bus interchange via the access road and footpath between the Wilson Carpark and the Cancer Centre. For those that are accessibility-impa...

[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

New Darlington video released. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aOYD5EBRJ0U aOYD5EBRJ0U Thanks for that - looks like a pretty substantial immediate improvement for users of this stretch of road. Southbound - the expressway now will effectively start at Ayliffes road and use the trench from there. No...

A 220m section of shoddy concrete between two pieces that dramatically dropped off the South Rd Darlington Upgrade will be totally replaced, possibly as soon as today. The State Government has confirmed that works will start this week, weather permitting, to take down the existing shotcrete between...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

Could brighton station also be removed, leaving one new mega "brighton" station to replace Brighton, Hove and Warradale, situated under or over brighton road.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

I keep hearing that three stations are or could be on the chopping board on the Seaford line. Has anyone else heard this information and which ones? It seems fairly evident that one of Hove, Brighton and Warradale will go with the Brighton overpass. Warradale is only 540m from Oaklands which is a b...

[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

Looks like it’ll be the latter: all southbound traffic diverted into the trench allowing for repairs, while the current southbound surface road between Sturt and Flinders will be reduced to allow repairs. The way those lines are painted, northbound SEXY traffic will be in the trench too. Either tha...

Screenshot from a friend's short video. https://i.imgur.com/wyWC767.png Looks like they are only a few weeks away from the next traffic switch, which my guess is going to start the expressway, southbound, from just after ailyffes road. It initially travels on the the left side of the trench before ...

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport Service & Policy

Pretty telling comment. If you think private companies dont invest in their diversity and inclusion strategies then I question whether you've actually been engaged by an employer with a national or multinational presence. It's not some pinko time waster dreamed up by public servants. I've worked fo...
