Renders Complication
Just a suggestion. I was thinking it would be good if there was a place where all the latest renders of PRO, APP and UC buildings in the CBD could be collated for easy access. Sometimes I will look at a thread and wonder, "What is this supposed to look like in the end?" and then have to cl...

This is gonna sound like blasphemy to those of you with architecture or city planning degrees and the such. But to me, as long as it's all glass, it's fine. It's much better than... oh... let's say... nothing.

Re: Top of the Myer centre
HIgh end brand names sounds like a good idea to me. Would also give people a reason to shop in the city. Brands you can't get out in the suburbs.

Top of the Myer centre
Like everyone else I'm of the opinion that the top of the Myer centre is huge waste of space. I haven't been up there since I was like 4 so I really don't know what the layout is like, but I'm sure something could be done with it. Just taking Tokyo as an example, here all department stores have nice...

Perhaps we should start by removing this building from SA's banner?

NIce work Shuz! Gives a really good idea of what our skyline may look like in a few years. As long as everything keeps plodding away at a positive pace, Adelaide will look very different in the near future ... Barring some unforeseen disaster

Re: How do we lose the 'boring & dull' stereotype?
I have to agree with you Joely, not about Perth being boring (I've never been there), but about it's skyline not being all that impressive. Apart from those two tall buildings they have in the centre, it seems like their CBD is quite small and lacking density. Unfortunately for us those two building...

Re: How do we lose the 'boring & dull' stereotype?
I reckon we should get some better photos on Adelaide's Wikipedia article :P . I don't know about you guys but, for better or worse, I pretty much get all my information from Wikipedia these days (I think half the english speaking world does now). So if anyone in the world decides they want a little...

Hey, guys. Don't know if this is the right place to put this, but I was thinking it would be cool to see a 3D sketch up of Spire in Google Earth. If anyone has the time/inclination it'd be really cool to see. P.S. I know it's a hell of a lot easier for me to ask someone else to do it than do it myse...
