[U/C] Re: M2 North-South Motorway
I am not sure if its just coincidence, but every time I have driven on the newer concrete section between St Kilda and Bolivar etc when its raining, the speed limit is reduced to 60. Is there a reason for this? If its because the road is slippery when it rains, doesn't that kind of defeat the purpos...

Great design. I work just around the corner from this site and did notice recently a for sale sign out the front of the "open air" car park. Was curious what that means so I hope that this is built. I was told that the reason why they remove the roofs from these car parks is it gives the o...

What happened to the talk of having a tunnel under the airport to link with the current dead end section of Richmond Road? Or was it just that - talk?

There should really be a tram stop up there with the stairs connecting the train station to the tram stop. I still don't understand why this wasn't done when they upgraded the Glenelg line before the flexity trams came in to service.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains
Agree with those comments too especially the lack of any signage on the new northern entry, which to me also looks very dull from the outside and needs something to lift it. Perhaps some nice lit up signage for the station would assist here. Speaking about lit up signage, I am hoping that the old Se...

Yep I agree this one is a shocker and does not belong on North Terrace and especially not above a beautiful heritage building (or facade I guess now). I still don't understand why its so tall, skinny and boxy? Why couldn't it have perhaps been shorter and introduced some curves? We have so many boxe...

So I'm guessing someone came in with their cheque book and offered a deal to good to refuse. I did notice that the original plans for this development did not include the demolition of the hotel. Also, isn't it heritage listed? (not like that means much these days). I'm curious how this will now alt...

I'm normally a fan of retaining vintage / retro buildings but in this case, the current building has no redeeming qualities and as every day passes, it gets vandalized more and more and fills with bird poo. Has anyone else noticed that one of the vent / drawer type things facing Currie St has been o...

Very much looking forward to seeing that car park gone too but I really hope that whatever replaces it is something new and exciting for Adelaide. If it gets replaced with another car park and student apartments, I have lost all faith in the ACC. And I hope to God that once the parking structure doe...

Looks like the whole area needs at least 100 more trees. With all that concrete and reflections off the windows from the new casino building etc, heat will be a massive issue. Some water features would have been really nice too. Added some tranquility to the area and to help link it to the river.

Has there any word on what will happen with the stores that used to be in the arcade? For example, will the newsagent be relocating or any space provided in the new design for some of the "old" businesses to return

Not sure if its been mentioned elsewhere but it looks like 381 King William Street has a temp. fence around it. Its been empty since about 2019 so I would be interested to see what is going to happen.

Yeh ok its not going to be a Marion, but settle down mate Elizabeth and Noarlunga are holes as well. Their only saving grace is their distance from the closest Westfield and that they are in far flung outer suburbs. The problem is investment in the centre. When Vicinity (who own Chadstone) owned it...
