Re: #U/R: Newport Quays | [ Port Adelaide Waterfront ]
Where are all the people? Looks like a ghost town... I wonder how many units were bought by speculators hoping for a quick buck but now refusing to sell at a loss... Well they'll be holding on to them for a long time then ! How about the full page add from Urban Construct in the paper today for the...

OMG Prince George i have always enjoyed your comments but to say this development is more interesting than COH just shows how a photograph cannot tell the whole truth. I think if you were at the griffens head tomorrow night and had a look at both developments on a quiet stroll through the city your ...

They're both gone along with the Masonic Lodge proposal which has been offered
to another developer. That offer has been declined for two reasons - you have
to get up quite high in the building before there are any worthwhile views and also
access to the building would be somewhat difficult

The building wont leave much of a footprint but will be suitable for the student
market it hopes to capture. Pricing and location very reasonable.

A couple of the upper level more expensive apartments have been sold in the last week.
Looks like the economic crisis hasn't impacted on the confidence of buyers just yet in
Adelaide's better residential developments which is great !

With the Government whinging about the lack of land supply Adelaide and its proposed TOD should be forced to go up.... However appartments need to be roomy and well priced. If one pays 300,000 for land a 250,000 for a really good home on a big block in the suburbs why are 3 bedroom appartments more...

Can't legislate against people being lazy and stupid. \ Look - you are right but until you own an apartment it can be quite difficult to appreciate the size of living areas. . Also the direction that balconies face and their size have an enormous impact on their usability. In saying that i concur t...

Walked past at lunchtime today and noticed they have placed a polished granite facade that tapers down from ( decreases in width ) from south to north on the front of the building. I didn't have a camera so couldn't get a snap. I know this sounds a little confusing :) but if someone can take a photo...

That little two storey bldg is sure going to look out of place when CHS bldg. is completed. Like a forgotten relic. Would suit perhaps a high class restuarant on the square to complement surrounding residential/office dev't. A DELAIDE - TOWARDS A GREATER CITY SKYLINE Good guess Skyliner - that's ex...
