Re: CBD Crane Counter
Maybe you should also highlight in the up and coming section which ones are proposed and which are approved?

Re: News from the ACC
Clr Yarwood, I see that a council carpark review is one of the key items that you want to bring up on the agenda for the draft budget. Can i bring up the point that you should also look at motorbike parking. There is a major lack of parking within the CBD and this can easily and cheaply be attended ...

Re: Roads & Rail
Why would the smart money be on that idea? Wouldnt it be 'smarter' to make Anzac Hwy a highway to South rd to join up to the North-South freeway?Cam wrote:When it comes to building a Southern Expressway from the City , smart money would have it follow the existing train line - branching down to Tonsley.

Re: #Vision: New Inner-City Stadium
Rhino, you seem to forget that this is Rann's second term and over this time he has been very fortunate that the Australian economy has done well and that we've reaped from the GST, that SA is back on its feet after the repairs by the previous Liberals (who had to do the unpopular and dirty work of...

Re: other sites for a new stadium?
Ahem, may I just correct a few people here on a fact. The Thebarton Police Barracks is where the proposed soccer stadium will be going, however, they are not located in Thebarton! They are located opposite the Adelaide Gaol, which is in the city! Well dont i feel like a banana  Still dont agr...

Re: other sites for a new stadium?
This is a thread for ideas for stadium sites. I fully agree with most of what you said but that is not the propasal on the table !!. The chances of these codes coming together in a powershare arrangement are around nil, maybe a little higher but not much. If we want CBD stadium, building on parkland...

Re: other sites for a new stadium?
I actually posted this in the CBD form but thought i would post it here as well seeing its pretty appropriate. My opinion is that Adelaide cannot possibly support a independent sporting facility. It must be a multi use stadium with multiple sporting codes in mind for the most effective long term use...

...also agree with Norman about concerts, etc... Did you guys read my post earlier on? :) Open air in summer would be perfect. No need for air conditioning and other extra electricity expenses (besides those on stage). So if they plan it with that in mind and have all the extra facilities (e...

Re: #Vision: New Inner-City Stadium
I'm an AUFC member as well and have been for a couple of years now. I definitely support Dario's stadium plan. AAMI doesn't fit within FIFA guidelines and I'm sure the FFA would always go for an interstate stadium over AAMI. Granted at the moment I think AUFC would find it difficult to get 30,000 a...

My opinion is that Adelaide cannot possibly support a independent sporting facility. It must be a multi use stadium with multiple sporting codes in mind for the most effective long term use. If AUFC went it alone it would stand more or less idle for more or less half the year. Financial russian roul...

Re: City Central - Latest News
From what i can gather the foot print of the building is blue but the boundary/area the building will take up is the dotted line around T7 (which looks like will be built over the top of T6) and will also connect the 2 x T4 buildings together.
