Have walked through it recently and the new paint job, new railing and no more sails/nets in the atrium really make it look cleaner and far better than it was. I think when it's finished the only thing bad will be the green windows left on the outside still ...

Was thinking the same thing, everyone rocking up on trains and trams are going to be using this one bridge.. when you think about it its a very narrow channel to move such a large amount of people.

Looking forward to this refurbishment, will look great at the end of a refurbished Rundle Mall, and with hopes of the Jamie Oliver restaurant down the road in the old bank building, plus everything else thats happening. True revitalisation of the CBD.

Drove past today and completely agree, it's gone up incredibly fast, they have the Westfield signage up on the new mall entrance. Not sure if anyone would know but I have heard that Target Fulham Gardens is closing and moving to West lakes and a Big W is going to Fulham. Anyone know whats going on? ...

[COM] Re: U/C: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment | 53,500 | $545m
Would there be the possibility that one day in the distant future, when our population has grown and the stadium is well established as our premium destination for AFL, cricket and other large events, that a duplicated grandstand will be built on the northern mound? Just looking at the plans and env...

I think from a consistency point of view they should have stuck to this design but maybe spruced it up a bit. Keep with the flow of the original building.

Having seen it in its near complete stage it looks good and we should appreciate it for what it is without fussing on its design so much, sure it's no Westfield Pitt street but still, it's a shiny brand new shopping complex with an array of different stores and stands as a launch pad for continual p...
