Re: Cheap arse Adelaide accomodation

It's not free to stay with Uncle Cruise, Lets just say he prefers a different "method of payment" Yeah probably the sort only females can provide. Of course that form of payment is also accepted for accomodation at my palace in Eastern Melbourne. - DId end up finding somewhere thanks for ...

Cheap arse Adelaide accomodation

Does anybody know of any places around the $100/night max mark for 2 ppl around the CBD or inner Adelaide (near frequent PT options)? Thanks from Somebody/L2. Hoping for places not too terrible. (I figured here would get more useful responses than looking up websites from places all blabbing about h...

Re: London "Piffle Tower"

Haven't they already allowed that interesting/strange gherkin curved top building to be built? That's enough of a landmark

[COM] Re: SOS for 'dying' Rundle Mall

Poor old Adelaide, even good old Rundle Mall is dying :wank:. I suspect what will happen to it is it will be over-run by chain stores if it's not already - like an open air version of Westfield Tea Tree Plaza :wank: :wank: Back when I went to Adelaide all it needed was more activity at night - it wa...

Re: Where's Cruisey?

Umm, what? Why can't you reveal anything more about this? "One more post"? WTF :wank: School holidays have nothing to do with this, because of these two facts:  1. I am not a schoolkid, neither is Cruisey. 2. It's a weekend, if I was a schoolkid or a 9-5 worker then I'd stil...

Re: Where's Cruisey?

So is he coming back?

And why would I join him, as one of the board's best posters and one of the better non-dribblers you should be campaigning for me to stay, instead of losing 'Somebody' to http://www.bettertransport.org.nz/forum/index.php :wank: :wank:

Where's Cruisey?

Is this the start of a long, slow decline for Sensational Adelaide? Have we lost one of our funniest posters, all over some lame Whacko Jacko jokes? :wank:

I've been abandoning this site lately for the CBT Auckland forums.

Re: #PRO: City Busway - O-Bahn to West Tce

^ You reckon? It seemed fairly ordinary to me. West Lakes seemed clean and modern, and Marion was nice and big although parts of it like the Statue of Liberty are tack-o-rama :wank: I remember I caught a bus from Golden Grove to the City at 9pm on a Sunday night. Not many people around, but arriving...

Re: Cross suburban bus routes

Why would anybody go near the 100 without a large pole - it only runs every 30 minutes, and doesn't run at all on night or Sundays FFS. Absolute rubbish. Do they still run a lot of the old MAN SL200 buses on it? When I used it, most people were making various trips along the 100 itself rather than c...

Re: Cross suburban bus routes

The ATSB recommended articulated buses should be banned from using the Jervois Terrace crossing, but contrary to what the public were told, had no objection to normal buses. What happened at Jervois Terrace? Google finds nothing, except that it's still on the Noarlunga line replacement bus route. M...

Re: #U/C: Port Adelaide Tram Line

Are they actually proposing to get rid of the suburban line that runs all the way up to Outer Harbor ? Can't see how it would run (kept as heavy rail) if the viaduct went and their tram proposal only mentions Semaphore.

Interesting.

Re: #PRO: City Busway - O-Bahn to West Tce

It's the residents of Modbury who have said no Said morons need to die. How tall is that student accommodation block presently in Modbury? Surely it'd be >10 levels, have seen it once ages ago. Tea Tree Plaza is a fairly bogan shopping centre, and the bus interchange is best avoided at night, or at...
