Re: Magill/Portrush Road Intersection Upgrade | $98m

I wonder if anyone has there Homes valued, or like most people these days just assign a value based on what they think, with no actual basis.

One of the biggest thing I've noticed in Adelaide isn't that house values have gone down, they just haven't gone up as much as people expected.

Yes but the morons will eventually either run out of money, lose their jobs or have enough.

So everyone else can shop with sufficient social distancing, we aren't running out of anything.

Where does Cafe Brunelli rank for everyone? Is it above or below Fasta Pasta?
I think people underestimate Fasta Pasta

Could see it working at the Village. One of its beat stores was in Burnside (shut down because of management iasues rather than profit)

Re: Magill/Portrush Road Intersection Upgrade | $98m

Widening roads to ease traffic congestion is like loosening your belt to cure obesity. Whilst I broadly agree with the sentiment, i think these roads have needed improvements for many years. Unfortunately most of these intersections are in safe seats, so there has been no real drive to fix them. I ...

There will be two types of people who stay here mainly I expect. 1. People going to the oval for games/events who want to be able to come and go easily. During any ashes games for example I expect the hotel will be at capacity. 2. People who are drawn in by the dot point of staying at a hotel that ...

Re: Magill/Portrush Road Intersection Upgrade | $98m

Back on this topic, I wonder if anybody did the cost comparison for building a bridge/overpass rather than just a much bigger traffic light intersection, after they had decided that even the traffic lights need so much property acquisition. It is probably the worst intersection on Magill Road, but ...
