Re: Qantas Failing Adelaide
All airlines have systems to know the exact size of a market. They know how many passengers leave Adelaide to each destiny and through what connections. And we have to understand the factors to make a city a hub, I mean, cost. Aviation is a complex industry with no margin for adventures because the ...

It´s amazing as we are like dogs trying to catch their tail. Less old news and more action, that´s what Adelaide needs.

Yeah, Cam. I guess you know portuguese style using stones everywhere. I agree that mosaics in Copacabana (black/white waves) are a kind of brand to Rio with satue of Christ the redeemer either. However our traffic is chaotic. We have freeways, tunnels, subway, train, ferries, bridges, tram, buses (a...

Good shots, Norman. its gives a excellent idea of it. I suppose It is enough room to 3X3, specially in the future if they use the space between the ways. It seems to me that they are wasting to much room with that concrete split. It is just an opinion comparing to the patterns from Rio, where I live...

Re: Ideas on how to attract more people to SA?
I know how you feel, Richard. I have plans to move from Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) to Adelaide at the end of 2009 with wife and son. My challenges are immense, specially in terms of language and culture. Rio is a huge city with more than 6 million people (bigger than any australian city) and a lot of ...

Re: #ARTICLE: Monarto to be largest open-range zoo in the world
And what if in a close future they come up with a project of transforming Monarto Zoo into a theme park with rollercoasters etc, like they were trying to do recently with Melbourne Werribee Zoo. Bush Gardens (a sort of) in Tampa, Florida is a success and attract a lot of tourists to the city. Do you...

I loved that as I have plans to move very soon to Adelaide. South Australia really needs an attraction of this magnitude in order to be a kind of international destiny, I mean, even more famous. And I am quite sure SA needs more.
