[PRO] Re: 80 Currie Street | 137m | 34 levels | Office

Here is a larger photograph of the building in its original state: https://collections.slsa.sa.gov.au/resource/BRG+67/14/27 How much of it has actually survived is questionable. I have also been inspecting the building on Streetview. This imagery dates from July 2017, and unfortunately there doesn't...

Re: News & Discussion: Regional Transport

Which other routes does GWR still control? I noticed that the level crossing on the Horrocks Highway just north of Roseworthy is now signed as "crossing not in use". I assume that means they are no longer required to make/keep it usable. If I am not mistaken, Genesee & Wyoming Austral...

Now how on earth was that not heritage listed. How was it allowed to be demolished! The original station building and platform canopy, pictured here , were demolished in 1963 after years of neglect. This was its replacement, which closed in 1981: https://www.flickr.com/photos/87616623@N05/9049173322/

[SWP] Re: New Womens and Childrens Hospital

I am disgusted that demoliton of The Newmarket is being considered, let alone supported. It is an historic landmark, and by far one of Adelaide's most attractive and well-preserved buildings.

Find a different site.

At this stage, 2PP is still 50.2 - 49.8. There is still hope.
Not really.
Weatherill has conceded, and resigned.
Norman was referring to Rachel Sanderson's seat of Adelaide:

[COM] Re: 269 North Terrace | 118m | 34 Levels | Student accommodation

What 'character' on the southern side of North Terrace is this 'concerned government architect' referring to? Is it the beige concrete monstrosity that is the David Jones building, or its afterthought add-on Tiffany & Co? The Adelaide Central Plaza, with its six-lane car park entry and poorly t...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

Perhaps some concerned members of the forum could share our views on Marshall's and the Libs' facebook pages? They have put a number of announcements about this up this morning so it would be good if a fair share of the comments pointed out the lunacy behind this decision. You would be wasting your...
