[VIS] Re: Passenger Trains to Mount Barker
Officials from a Spanish train manufacturer proposing a train trial between the Hills and Adelaide’s CBD would have been “shocked” by the winding nature of the terrain – and that the track’s speed limit was 115km/h, the transport department CEO says. It comes as department officials say they are wo...

On Monday, he told the ABC Talgo had said “that’s not what our trains do” and hadn’t realised the actual size Mount Barker’s population, believing it to be much larger – and far further away from the CBD. “They’re very ...

[U/C] Re: Port Adelaide Dock Spur Line

That's cool - I live close to the OH line and have enjoyed seeing the red hens in service when they have run in the past....

[CAN] Re: 207 Pulteney Street | 180m | 55 Levels | Mixed Use
I'm... whelmed? It's fine, but aside from the two recesses it's largely another extruded glass rectangle. The height is great, for sure, but otherwise I'm not seeing anything particularly special. Given the hype surrounding this project, I was also expecting something other than the usual Adelaide ...

[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million
A dramatically revamped Festival Plaza will open for March’s festival season after almost a decade’s wrangling over the $663m redevelopment of some of Adelaide’s most prized land. Under the final deal with Sydney property tycoon Lang Walker hammered out by Treasurer Rob Lucas, an office tower of up...
