Re: Did the forum change?
I don't mind the new forum layout, now that I've had a while to get accustomed to it, and the ads have settled down (and stopped appearing INSIDE posts). However, I think it would look nicer if the quote box background colour was a lighter and more pale shade of blue - instead of that bright neon s...

I cant understand why the remaining section is being considered one project. This talk of tunnels is a pipe dream. Why not break it into 3 projects? Edwardstown to Darlington, Torrens to Anzac highway and finally the Cross road interchange rebuild. The projects and more importantly the workforce, co...

Interestingly the northern expressway is still shown as the M20. When did it change to M2?ChillyPhilly wrote: ↑Thu Mar 12, 2020 4:43 pmGoogle Maps now features the NC, but updates are still required for the Southern and Bolivar Interchanges.

The focus should be on finishing the NSM ASAP. A possible next bug project...upgrading the Dukes from Tailem to tge Victorian border. It's one of our state's main freight routes. But I think our states infrastructure is so bad, where do you start next? Imho, how about draw 3 out of a hat and start ...

I am in favour of the reduced speed limits for now. Just the other day I saw a guy move from the right lane to the Salisbury Highway off-ramp, crossing about 4 lanes of traffic in 1 single sweep. I understand the reduced speed limits around the southern interchange. But north of Bolivar rd? Please,...

When traveling north, there is a sign saying port Wakefield road. But when you get to the exit, the next sign says port Wakefield highway. Also, when leaving the port expressway to join the NSM there is a sign that says start freeway.

While we are all having dumb ideas, why not remove all the bridges and have ferries instead?

[COM] Re: Birkenhead Bridge Upgrade Project
Ummm... wasn't a new bridge built about 12 years ago, along with a nice new road in 2005 to divert the heavy traffic away from the port? To build across the Port River further downstream would lead to either a need for a much higher bridge, or more openings as there are more frequent large ship mov...

[COM] Re: Birkenhead Bridge Upgrade Project
Sorry, this whole idea is strange. If any new bridge was to be built across the Port River it should be from Osborne, and across Torrens island to meet with the NSM.
That way heavy vehicle traffic all along Victoria road and in the inner Port would be greatly reduced.
