Re: News & Discussion: Trams

I have noticed that the timetable boards at every tram stop outside the city and at the South Terrace stop have dissappeared.

Does anyone know what they are doing? Getting new ones presumably but why not just replace the actual signs?

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

Does anyone have any idea when they will remove the fences and equipment down at the end of Kintore Avenue taking up parking spaces?

I think trams seem to be stuck around past the University.

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

Just took the tram from "Art Gallery" to the Railway Station instead of my normal walk to the Rundle Mall stop routine. Good amount of people using the servce. I think this will turn out nicely and only get better with more extensions.

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

Each extension has been more popular than expected. Hopefully the Liberals see the people voting with their feet and seek to get some credit by giving them another destination (even if only North Adelaide or the loop this term). As far as I am concerned, the next extension needs to go over the brid...

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

Lasy night I walked past the "Chinatown Plaza" foodcourt in Moonta Street that has been under renovation for years. I think it was supposed to open early last year. It looks like its finally going to reopen soon. All the posters boarding up the place were gone and it was full of workers se...

That picture doesn't look like King William Street at all. Did they accidentally upload the wrong image or something?

Re: The SA Politics Thread

The Electoral Commission sure are taking a while to finalise the count for the Upper House. I know this always happens because of the complexity of preferences in electing more than one candidate but on Twitter they said that the results will be out "middle of this week". Sent from my SM-A...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

I asked Dpti today, probably just a standard reply but anyway - Hi, the City Tram Extension Project is expected to be completed by late April, when the commissioning of the line will occur, followed by driver training. So the line won't actually be open to the public til mid May or so. Sent from my...
