Very disappointing.. I thought there was meant to be GOOD NEWS in the state budget for Public Transport.
From the Libs perspective good news about public transport is any dollar not spent on transport for the plebs.

This site is better off being used as a pocket park, where you could station a couple of food vans, some tables and chairs and nice trees.
Almost certainly, but who's going to pay for that?

I'm pretty sure the is the budget site opposite Adelaidean. Yep. It'll have to be a very very skinny 16 storey building. The site is only 7.87m wide. https://img.agentaccount.com/db7b858c47b795ecbcdd1ddf803378a3a407e450 That is absolutely tiny. It would also guarantee a blank east facing wall since...

Yes, there’s fire boundary regulations, but in the case of this building, they’ve already been prepared to set back at some levels to allow openings. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t at more levels, except to avoid glazing costs. The floor plates would still be substantial even with more of a s...

Apparently Cory Bernardi is thinking about rejoining the Libs.

Hopefully they just "say no".

It’s good Marshall is investing heavily in infrastructure in the budget. If as he says, the interest rate is only 1.66% its worth borrowing and makes sense to invest in projects that earn more than they cost. While our debt has gone to $21bn I still think he could have gone even more gang busters o...

It does seem like an interesting choice to build a bunch of stores that will only be there for three years. Anyone know the reasoning?

At the time the council was estimating upkeep costs of up to $500,000 a year to keep the bridge and surrounds in good condition, hoping the state government would help out. I assume that state contribution never ended up happening?

Gupta has signed an agreement with a Chinese company to build the Cultana solar farm.
Great this is going ahead, although it's still a massive shame that Australia squandered its chance to be a global leader in renewables meaning that we have to get a Chinese company to build it.

It is very interesting the things that Rev considers are and aren't worth massive amounts of taxpayer dollars.
Do elaborate..your attempts at character assassination is getting boring. Add some substance instead of pathetic one liners, if you have the capacity.

Re: Flinders University - Developments & News

Very shortsighted not to allow a reserve / provision for the extension of the railway line. Is it feasible for the train line to continue on the other side of the Flinders Uni land? If not then it doesn't really matter but if so then yeah a bad idea. That said, it's going to be nice to see a space ...
