Though the Adelaidean looks good i feel like having the floor slab hanging out creates some issues (bird shit and potential staining). As good and prominent that'll be, will there be spikes along the perimeter to prevent this cause? I highly doubt it, over time the bird droppings will probably add ...

I saw this on Adelaidean last night - looked impressive. As you said though, hopefully it's actually maintained.

Does anyone know what the blue box that appeared on top a few days ago is likely to be? A plant room?
Lift motor room.
Thanks, thought it could be. Hope they do something interesting with the cladding or lighting, it's in a pretty prominent spot on the building.

[PRO] Re: Central Market Arcade Redevelopment | 135m | 35 levels

How do we know this is 135m? I thought the actual height hadn't been confirmed? We don't. As per always, some over eager knob has presumed the height in all of their excitement. They've probably already added it to the 'Tallest Building's in Adelaide' Wikipedia page as well... Images will also be p...

[PRO] Re: Central Market

This really is sensational for the city! Great design that speaks to the existing markets, 24hr access, connectivity between laneways/streets and a focus on dining/retail for the lower levels.

The only thing that can make this better is for the main tower to exceed 153m

I've flown into London City Airport (Western approach) and can tell you it feels like you are within touching distance of the skyscrapers in Canary Wharf. If this is permissible within one of the bigger cities in the world; Maximum building heights in Adelaide's CBD should be revised upwards imminen...

It's probably only me, but I always liked the brutalist bunker type design of the control centre, with its angled glass windows.
