116 Rose Terrace progress.
Looks like Wayville copped it in the storm this morning. I hope everyone is ok. One saving grace, it looks to have landed between the fence and house with unbelievable accuracy.

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

How would peak hour traffic work down Unley Rd, Goody Rd or The Parade with fewer lanes for traffic when the majority of the journeys start from other areas?

Re: News & Discussion: Other Metropolitan Developments

I really like that area. I've been to the new basketball stadium a few times recently and almost can't believe that section of Wayville with the Boulevard zoning hasn't seen more action. 8 stories would have been nice, hopefully #126 goes ahead too. I find it puzzling that there are the apartment bl...

Townhouses now under construction at 116 Rose Terrace Wayville. https://www.realestate.com.au/property-townhouse-sa-wayville-143568160 That's a much better use of that space than it was when it was the Peugeot new car holding yard. https://i.ibb.co/9ZzgVzL/20231108-193946.jpg https://i.ibb.co/S3Jmbj...

You just can't build high rise developments at that price point any more.

Re: News & Discussion: Other Metropolitan Developments

Here's a couple of Community Title developments near me. Cross Rd the tradies get to slodge around in the mud, at least on Fullarton Rd they get looked after a little bit better. The thing that surprised me with the O'Halloran Hill development was how big the site was for Community Title. I would ha...

Re: News & Discussion: Other Metropolitan Developments

How in the hell do they do a development without any roads built or utilities ready to be hooked up to? It's like every other Community Titled development in Adelaide isn't? I can't think of one where they build the driveway (road...) before construction has finished. Torrens Title development I ag...

Anyone know what all the shipping containers in the vacant sites are for? Are they a temporary noise reduction wall or something else?

This one has had an increase in apartments from 25 to 29 and the associated arm wrestling with regards to parking spaces. It's so handy to the CBD and public transport, glad it's been given planning approval again with the changes, against the wishes of the council it would seem. https://plan.sa.gov...

It sure is disappointing but I just couldn't get over the fact that all of those lovely north facing apartments would look out at 19 North Tce. It would have to play havoc with the feasibility wouldn't it?

Re: [PRO] 76 South Tce | 12 levels | Mixed Use

Marina, that's hilarious. The building is so narrow they really had to think outside the box to get the minimum requirement of natural light into the bedrooms. How's the car parking situation? I guess that's opaque too.
Greedy developers is exactly what I would call them.
