[COM] Re: Vicinity Colonnades (Extension) | $52m

Looks good, but one thing I hate is when shopping centres do multiple refurbishments in different styles. Given that Colonnades recently built an extension (Aldi mall) I would like to believe that this and hopefully subsequent upgrades will be to make the rest of the centre match the style of the A...

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport Service & Policy

Our Bus Network needs a complete overhaul. In the 80s Adelaide we had top quality buses and trains, good mix of city bus routes and cross suburban bus routes. Without the OBahn traffic congestion in the north eastern suburbs area would be alot worse. In my opinion though there should of been a trai...

[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

So from Gawler to Aldinga and beyond we will have Northern Expressway, Northern Connector, North South Motorway, South Road, Main South Road. Would it be wise to have one name for the whole stretch or less names? Northern Expressway (Gawler to Regency Park), South Road (Regency Park to Tonsley), Mai...

Re: Oaklands Crossing | $174m

If the Seaford Line is going to squeeze any more services into peak hour, then some compromises or changes are going to be needed to maximise peak hour capacity. At peak frequencies of every 3-4 minutes (or quicker) inbound from Woodlands Park including the Tonsley Line, you are not going to be abl...

They really should make a reservation beyond the line terminus to future proof any rail extension. Any development in the way will just stuff things up.
No it should not go any further. Flagstaff Road copes with traffic fine.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses

Remove the 222 services. Change the 224 to run to and from the city via Port Wakefield Road. Restore the 224 (city). Change the 228F to 228. Extend 225M to Gepps Cross via Mawson Lakes Boulevard, extend 229 (feeder) to Gepps Cross (25). Maintain the 224X and 228X but change 225F/X, 229F/X to 225 and...

Re: Oaklands Crossing | $174m

Unfortunately there are a couple of taggers (I won't give them any exposure by mentioning their tags) at the moment who are making it their mission to tag every single bit of public infrastructure (down to something as small as a planter box) from Bowden all the way through to the riverbank precinc...

I'd expect to see them target the likes of Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, Givenchy etc. and have them setup their first SA stores
I would like to see Aldi, Woolworths, Foodland and Harris Scarfe

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses

Gawler already has Dial A Ride Service (495). Towns like Mount Barker should trial a Dial A Ride Service to replace the 838 and 839 services.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

I'm just curious why they didn't design the line straighter to finish up in front of the medical centre & hospital? All I can think is with the bend it gives the potential to extend the line to the Flinders Uni. but with the gradient of the slope I think it would be almost impossible, right? Possib...
