I believe zinc does develop a patina, but to what extent would depend on how it's been treated. Zinc Oxide is a dirty white / grey colour. Not as interesting as Copper Carbonate's green. Lots of big projects underway and about to commence exciting times. I don't ever remember this many projects at or about to commence construction phase. We had had heaps of proposals but this is by far going to be one of the biggest 24 months periods in terms of both height and quantity. Can't wait...

Thanks for the photos. I have never seen a concrete pouring structure (ie like the one in the photos) raised. How do they do it. Also (please forgive my ignorance) do they flush the concrete out of the riser / pipes etc with water at completion of a pour? They will usualy "blow the lines down&...

FlindUni never had a tower crane, it had a 70t Lima crawer to start with, now there is what looks like a 100t pinjib up there. The medical centre still has it's tower crane.crawf wrote:Theres actually 11 cranes in Adelaide, if you include West Lakes and Flinders University.
