Until the 24th of May the tower is in MIMIC mode with the current old tower. On the 25th of May the roles will be reversed and the old tower ...

Latest pictures of the Multi Level Car Park and Overhead Walkway. Funny, the car park is not as tall as I thought it would be.

Re: #UC: 5 lvl Car Park & Pedestrian Plaza - Adelaide Airpor
I would argue it's not "convenient" to make people walk an extra 200-500 metres with luggage but im not lazy, so ill do it. From memory it's 50-70 metres (depending on where you measure from) and there is also a security issue with cars and the current overhead ramp access. I read somewhe...

Re: #UC: 5 lvl Car Park & Pedestrian Plaza - Adelaide Airpor
Here's a small update on the carpark/walkway construction at Adelaide Airport. The walkway between the MLCP and T1 now spans the complete distance but is not complete until the contruction team finishes the roofing structure. The walkway will be over the new pedestrian plaza and provide a semi-shele...

Just thought I'd give this topic a post seeing its been forgotten. The following is a photo of the multi level car park construction site at Adelaide Airport. It was taken from the top of the new control tower on 26 October 2011.

Re: #U/C - Adelaide Airport Control Tower - 50m - $16 millio
The new control tower is almost there. It looks seriously like it could be ready for business in the not too distant future. All the glass is in, and the paint job now extends to the base with only a few sections left to be completed. http://www.5dme.net/latest/03-10-11/20111003_6.JPG http://www.5dm...
