My missus who has a spot in this current carpark has had to move carparks as of next week or the week after. So this could genuinely start soon.

It is a pretty awful looking development, not sure why everyone here is so sad about it.

I actually agree with the refusal. Scale, setbacks and design aesthetic are actually all quite poor. Not all development is good development. Back to the drawing board from me.

My missus parks in this carpark and they conducted soil testing late last year.

I think the original facade was absolutely butchered in the previous reno, but i may be wrong.

Does anyone know if there is any works to the facade of the GPO building as part of the works? You would imagine at the minimum it would get a decent clean surely.

Is this finished? Could not look any further away from the renders. I would be pissed if it were me.

I dont think it does at all. I think the contrast allows the original facade to stand out and distance itself from the new.
