[COM] Re: [West Franklin] | 54m & 64m | 17 & 20 lvls | Apartments

Again each to their own, Asakusa where the 634m skytree tower is? and a great ward to visit is a suburb of greater Tokyo and not part of the wards that make up Tokyo CBD within the Yamanote train line. I agree that there are lots of mid and low rise buildings in that area but its still not even remo...

Each to their own, but Adelaide in any way of clusters of buildings isn't even remotely comparable to Tokyo

[U/C] Re: Renaissance Arcade | 132m | 40 Levels | Realm Apartments

Excited to see this start to rise, good times for Adelaide. Has it been confirmed that the motors for the lifts will be at the bottom of the shaft? It can be done but its not typical to have a motor and traction sheave at the bottom of a shaft, or even off set to the shaft at the bottom. I'd assume ...

Correct. Im not sure if it is the same while large scale projects but I would assume so. That whilst the planning consent part of development approval is still completely dealt with directly by councils the building consent is usually outsourced to accredited firms who can certify as pre approved ma...

Re: Beer Garden

Yeah i have followed and you say there has been countless counters to the opinion? I have only seen the 1 retort of equality countless times. If the law of unity has the same privileges and legislations then hows that not equal? What is wrong with being gay and having a gay marriage law? Nothing! I ...

Re: Beer Garden

No one here has said you shouldn't be able to marry your partner. Or "consider" themselves homophobic. No need have a victim mentality and manipulate peoples opinions. I think your the one being intolerant to the law of marriage as it stands. Your are asking a law with a lengthy history to amend its...

Oh wow you mean to say there are 9 "glass boxes" (the most common design/material for any high rise) in our CBD built over the last 10 years. Thats just too many, crazy woobly doobly There are plenty that aren't glass boxes too. I wouldn't call U2 just a glass box, and agreed the Sofitel proposal lo...

Not every proposal is going to be a masterpiece? I think Adelaide has produced so much needed architectural merit to its skyline in recent times. The whole medical hub looks great and the 2 new talls going up among others. There is some truth in just being satisfied with some development. Adelaide w...

That looks sensational !!!

The best part of this development is that the biggest eyesore in Adelaide being Club 199 will finally be gone, and whats replacing looks like it will compliment its surroundings

Hasn't created anymore jobs? Are you trying to tell me if there are now 1000 uber drivers for example there are 1000 less cabs on the road? doesn't work like that. Of course it has created Jobs Anyways I know plenty of people who will Uber out of convenience now, where as previously would have not g...
