[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

This isn't a recent addition by any means, but they have numbered the bridges which go over the SEXY, starting with Number 1 at Seacombe Rd. In 60 years time when the South Rd corridor is finished, you will have driven 50km along it from Gawler, passing under numerous bridges, only to reach Seacombe...

[COM] Re: The Bend Motorsport Park

It's the Asian Le Mans series which will race at the circuit next January. Their current 2018-19 season is comprised of 4 and 6 hour races. I'd imagine that the race at The Bend would run for one of these lengths. I'd say is highly unlikely that the cars will be running during the night, although a ...

Not much happening here, does anyone know what the hold up is?
There was this Jewish carpenter born a few years ago. Most construction sites have taken time off to celebrate. I'd expect things to ramp up again soon.

Marion’s issue is a mediocre mainstream fashion and dining offer, not to mention lack of Parking.
The parking issue will, if anything, be made worse with the upgrade as the total number of parks is being reduced..

[CAN] Re: 51-57 Hutt Street | 49m | 13 Levels | Mixed

But it comes down to assessing each development (and the demolition that occurs prior) on its own merits. Demolish old stone cottages in the CBD to build a 13 story apartment building, probably not the worst thing to happen. Demolish the same old stone cottages to build an open car park, definitely ...

Re: SA Economy

OZ Minerals (under their previous guise of Zinifex) owned the smelter until 2007 when Nyrstar took over.

I've had the displeasure of spending time at the smelter in the past. It's an absolutely horrific place to spend time..

Today I noticed along the track the other side of the boundary fence was much better kept This suggests to me that side is council and the obahn side is dpti ie the govts responsibility and we know some govts like to cut more than others Sent from my SM-J730G using Tapatalk Or maybe they like to cu...

Re: 76 Magill Road, Norwood | 7 Levels | Aldi/apartments

The developers were thoughtful to include public space which they wish to vest with the council as a throughway to Chimney Park from Magill Rd, however this public space is compromised by the Aldi carpark and the positioning of townhouses. Probably not a case of the developers being thoughtful, mor...

I haven't had a look at the specifics of this but I am interested to see how they integrate both the new and old sites. I was thinking the same thing yesterday. It would be nice to see a large open foyer esque area where the two structures meet, with restaurants or bars with balconies looking down ...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

St Clair is north-north east of Woodville West, and it's practically completed. There was a plan to "swap" the park on Woodville Road adjacent the train station with the new bigger park they've built inside St Clair, to build a Bowden style TOD development, but the local residents bitched and moane...
