[U/C] Re: Westfield Tea Tree Plaza (Extension)

Timezone?? Never expected they to build at Timezone bowling one if there going to keep there old Timezone Given the size of the current Timezone, and it's being relatively new itself, I wonder if Timezone stays where it is and Zone Bowling will go into this space? Otherwise it would be a fairly sma...

[PRO] Re: Westfield Marion (2019/20 Extension)

I remember when they opened the cinemas at Marion over twenty years ago now? 25 year nearly? Was one of the biggest cinemas in the world at one point. I think it held that title briefly. Nice to see it getting upgraded Yep - they opened in 1997, just in time for Titanic (which was the first movie I...

[PRO] Re: Westfield Marion (2019/20 Extension)

The massive redevelopment of Event Cinemas is now underway. Vmax cinemas currently being refitted along with a few others with the rest to follow. Gold Class and Candy Bar areas will also be completely gutted and rebuilt in the next year or two. Well overdue, especially the smaller cinemas that hav...

Good riddance. I'm surprised it lasted this long to be honest.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses

I was (pleasingly) surprised to see the bus we were on (287) packed leaving the city after midnight. I've seen trains/trams rammed to the rafters after NYE in the past, but thought the bus routes picked for all night services would have the usual numbers of passengers. How wrong I was. Only downside...

I'm barracking hard for this to get up. Adelaide's first 'true' skyscraper and its first proper observation deck. I would pay good money to visit it. Same here. The observation deck would be amazing to visit. Even for locals you could visit every now and then and it would be enjoyable every single ...

About time. Harbour Town eating options (in the mall itself) have always been a bit average.

I also chuckled when I realised that Level 1 in the Myer Centre has been renamed Upper Ground.
That's been it's name for well over 10 years. They abolished the Promenade, Rundle and Terrace level names for Upper Ground, Ground and Lower Ground respectively.

One of my earliest concepts with the Gawler line going through the CBD to Unley and onto Millswood. With also new subways running from the northeast to south and southeast. Adelaide Metro System 11 Cheers It is a very nice concept. Unfortunately, if they ever go underground, they'll probably avoid ...

Yes I received an email from NRM and they will run red hens from Port Dock station on event days, with regular trains continuing to run, which is a great outcome for the museum. That's cool - I live close to the OH line and have enjoyed seeing the red hens in service when they have run in the past....

I'm old enough to remember the skyscraper they were going to build on North Tce on the site of the old DJs building. It had some big star shaped structure at the top of it. One of the typical Advertiser hyped up never going to be builts that got South Australians into a frenzy at the time prior to ...

A Level Crossing Removal Program is being set up, which will initially look at removing three railway crossings: - Cormack Rd, Wingfield - Kings Rd, Parafield - Park Tce, Salisbury All three are long overdue and, frankly, need to start tomorrow (well, maybe not Kings Rd and Park Tce at the same tine...
