It opened a few weeks back :)
I'm surprised there hasn't been more discussion on this, it would appear that the hospital is now fully operational? Or at-least partially operational?

[PRO] Re: 134-136 Wright Street | ~52m | 16 Levels | Motel

That article makes me want to slam my head on my desk. People worried about what raising the height limit to twenty stories would do to this part of the city. It is the main CBD of Adelaide, not a country town! - Cities are the Urban centers, and should be packed with opportunity to provide a skyli...

[COM] Re: Memorial Drive upgrade

I’m not usually critical of other opinions on this forum but as someone who has been to the AO at Melbourne Park twice in the past 3 years and two night sessions at the Adelaide International so far this year I have to question whether the posters above have actually a) watched any lower level ATP ...

Re: News & Discussion : New Restaurants, Bars & Night Clubs

As someone who went here, it was almost always too big and too empty. I don’t know what can be done here, kind of specialised for a club but like I said the venue is too big 90% of the time Remembering the 2,000+ capacity was over all the levels and all the different spaces within the venue, not ju...

This one has just started popping up ads on my FB feed, also a sign out the front of the site. 134-138 Goodwood Road, Goodwood. The former BankSA building and the neighbouring building.

No, I really like this. It's sleek and understated.
Have you had your eyes checked recently?

Nice views but any chance of one colour of grass in elder park preferably green. It looks shocking. It should really resemble Parliament House Canberra or the West End Brewery river grass. I know all the events that are held there cause it. What usually happens when one is hosting back to back even...

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

EB Games in City Cross is one of four stores in SA to meet its end. The other three are at Harbortown, Hallet Cove and Brickworks Marketplace. I'm genuinely surprised that Edwardstown and Sefton Plaza aren't part of these closures, they have always been dead whenever I've gone through either centre.

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

As much as I'd like to see Uniqlo set up in Rundle Mall, this space won't be it. The reality is, this space will sit empty for six-months at the very minimum before centre management can find a tenant, then depending on who takes up the space, there will be at-least two to six months worth of reconf...

Here’s the trick. Get rid of the dam car park. It’s ugly, we have enough and it’s prime land for something much better.
Yup
In time it'll go if not rebuilt into something better and I suspect Gawler Chambers will end up a part of whatever replaces it.

[COM] Re: Memorial Drive upgrade

Am I the only one that doesn't particularly like the idea of turning 500m on each side of our main boulevard into the city into an ode to (spectator) sport, filled with stadiums? Also, is the church at Hindmarsh that much of an impediment? We've lost things of far greater heritage value, for far le...

Going off topic here, but what future does Titanium arena have now that the 36ers aren't using it ? I reckon once the Lightning find a smaller home (be it Priceline Stadium, or one of the district courts), then TSA will quickly be sold to either Influencers or Edge or be sold for housing. I think I...

Re: News & Discussion: Laneway & Streetscape Projects

The arbours are a waste of time and money. Very little shade. We need as much shade as possible not arty fixtures that hold plants that are hard to water and maintain. Let's be serious! As for the line of trees in the middle of Gawler Place at the intersection of North Terrace what purpose do they ...

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

The problem with a lot of these opinions and observations is that none of them involved proper analysis. Sure, upper level entertainment works in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, very well in fact; but you should all know by now that Adelaide's retail and hospitality market works very differently fro...
