[U/C] Re: SkyCity Adelaide Casino Expansion | 55m | 12 Levels | Hotel

Adelaides casino from it's inception was always meant to be a smaller more boutique style,European if you like, as opposed to its eastern counterparts. If the likes of Darwin, Alice Springs or evenPerth have gone down the resort path, it's because they exist as more standalone venues-destinations i...

GU Film House in Hindley St has closed down (again)
For good or temp? I'm not surprised, they've only been doing weekend trading since the start of the year pre-COVID, also the film festival is now back at PalaceNova.

There is meant to be an announcement about this development this month but seems everyone is moving out already. The market arcade chemist is moving across the road on gouger next to NAB, while numerous other shops have closed in recent months. Let Them Eat is leaving Central Market Arcade for a ne...

The funding is entirely political, state Labor weren't too concerned with it going ahead or not because Gawler Line runs mostly through safe Labor seats, the Libs want to win these seats so they are funding it. Either way, at-least it's happening.

Not sure if it's been mentioned here, but it looks as though Electra House (the bar) has closed its doors... The interior has no furniture and it's looking ab it worse for wear.

Worth revisiting the funding issue regarding this tower. The state government for some inexplicable reason, offered favourable loan arrangements to get this over the line. The project is not yet completed and we are in the midst of a global crisis that will have a lasting impact on international tr...

So there's then going to be moveable seating/stands to create say a tennis court or two? A basketball court/arena? How are they going to manage the schedulin...
