Western 'wall' to Light Square with Palladium adding to the density. Quite an impressive collection

[U/C] Re: 114 Waymouth Street | 78m | 26lvl | Wingfold Tower

Wingfold rising up over Light Square, which itself is starting to get a sense of being enclosed by cityscape on all sides. But alas what a tired old square it is - it lacks a coherent theme or sense of structure and it seems like nothing has really changed since the 80's. Even a stronger planting sc...

A few different angles. As a building I don't mind the Intercontinental either, but SkyCity helps to reduce the 80's style presence that the hotel casts over the precinct, which I think is a good thing https://oi5.photobucket.com/albums/y190/Adelarch/Skycity%201_zpsz58okbhm.jpg https://oi5.photobuck...

[U/C] Re: Renaissance Arcade | 132m | 40 Levels | Realm Apartments

Thanks for the video link. There's an exceptionally good view of the skyline in the last part of the video which I've screeen-captured below. With Adelaidean, Realm and Spire and soon to be Sofitel there's an increasing sense of verticality in Adelaide's skyline at long last starting to replace the ...

Some stretched imagination on a Friday evening and a few very dodgy photoshop skills later… I contemplate a time when our talls are being constructed an order of magnitude taller In the meantime thanks for all the great pics Levesque and others, loving the design of this one https://oi5.photobucket....

[COM] Re: GPO Exchange | 85m | 22 Levels | Office

I like how it does just blend in and doesn't take away from the GPO or other historical buildings on the street Agree with this. Also, if the Travelodge Hotel and offices at 42-56 Franklin Street both go ahead too, that will be quite a dense area of the city. I also agree. I remember reading throug...

The jury's out on this one in my opinion but at the least it's likely to be quite imposing. Not really a blank wall is it Sent from my SM-J730G using Tapatalk Perhaps the angle was misleading but pretty much a blank wall, no? The variation in colour and some 3D relief lends it some interest. Much better than Kodo's western wall in its current form https://cdn6.ep.dynamics.net/s3/rw-proper...

Personally I quite like this building but I do hope they do something decent to that blank wall. 11 Hassall St Parramatta is IMO a reasonably good example of what can be done to the blank wall of a tall building with a bit of imagination https://p-cdn-bucket-7oegqjpvm7id.s3.amazonaws.com/property/ph...
