Re: Glenelg Ferry & Cruise ship terminal

Here's one of a few concepts I put together a few years ago when there was talk about a ferry terminal at Glenelg. This one doesn't include moorings for large yachts. I also thought the terminal could house an aquarium or a museum. It would have cafes, shops etc. Possibly room for conventions and e...

Re: Commonwealth Games in Adelaide

There’s an article on AdelaideNow that the Commonwealth Games bid is on the brink of collapse because the $3.5 billion cost is too high. How could it cost that much? I though we were trumpeting that we could host it quite inexpensively because most of the sporting infrastructure already exists? The...

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

Another SA business is no more as the last Shoe Shed in the Myer Centre goes out with a bang. It's literally high time the retail industry pulls its head outta its butt and realizes that today's online shopping culture and trade agreements are an Asset, not a Liability. I've lost a couple of local ...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

This will be a one term government. No doubt about it. If even their backers (business who donate their money to support their campaign) can't support the Liberals, then they have buckley's chance of mounting an effective electoral campaign. And even the most experienced political pundits would tel...

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

Tram extensions should not depend on Commonwealth games to attract funding. IA have repeatedly said they will look at funding for light rail if the state can come up with a workable plan. Apart from some vague wishy washy concepts from the former government, no one has presented a plan including sp...

Re: SA Economy

Young people complaining that the ad is ageist, while older people are having a laugh. Political correctness gone stupid as usual. If you don't like the ad, fair enough, but most people are bagging it on behalf of a section of the population they know nothing about. It's Middle aged people complain...

Could someone post a video of the news segment. I'm a Melbournian I probably won't see it otherwise haha.
I am keen on the developments in Adelaide, in Melbourne we take for granted our tall skyline.
