How would the tunnel work in regards to petrol stations and underground fuel tanks particularly around St Marys ?
The tunnels would be several meters below any tanks in the ground.. they wouldn't be using TBM's that close to the surface

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

Light rail down Port Road can, by extension, replace stops that may be removed from the OH/Grange lines: - West Croydon (possibly Croydon too) - Woodville Park - Cheltenham. Spend $X million demolishing existing train stations, then spend millions more to replace those same stations with tram stops...

Re: SA Economy

what a joke, no way Mt Barker is part of the Adelaide metro area. Its creative accounting to include it in the population stats. Same trick Dan Andrews pulled with Melton this week to cover up the fact people are leaving Melbourne due to his polcies. What's Dan Andrews got to do with anything in th...

Re: SA Economy

since when? did our premier pull a Melton trick to make Adelaide look like its growing? When the boundaries were established as a part of the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016. For the record, I still think it's weird they're trying so hard to push Adelaide to the south east and ove...

Myer is not only an anchor tenant for the Myer Centre, but also an anchor tenant for Rundle Mall. If they move out of the Rundle Mall its the beginning of the end of the shopping strip.
No it isn't.. Nobody would notice is Myer closed down in Rundle Mall

I frequent the Plants 3 & 4 quite a bit and normally park in the vacant block on Park Tce next door to it, along with many others. I saw a sign that an office building was going there which I guess means that parking lot is no longer going to be available. What are the plans for parking going f...

You could do a Showdown that round which would save a ground for another game. Presumably Adelaide Oval would be used atleast twice, probably Thursday and Saturday night

If you look at Google/Apple Maps, there is land set aside for a second runway at Adelaide Airport, approx 1.2km north-west of the current main runway. The flight path for this would take it approx over the Entertainment Centre at Hindmarsh. If there was ever a constraint on taller buildings in the ...

Re: Portrush Rd/South Eastern Freeway intersection discussion.

Ah yes, here it is again, one of Adelaide's most disastrous planning mistakes of the last century coming back to bite hard. Yes, I know that last bingle was an unlicensed driver, but it's still a miracle no one was killed this time around. It never ceases to disgust me that the plans in the mid 90'...
