Re: News & Developments: Port Adelaide

It's a freezer that is about waist high that you look down into rather than one with a door that stands in front of you. The Port Adelaide store never updated their freezers to the stand up model so they run down the center of the store, horizontally and presumably this was built into the store's fo...

Re: News & Developments: Port Adelaide

I heard many years ago from a staff member that Coles Port Adelaide's 'sideways' store orientation (aisles run side to side instead of front to back) is due to the coffin freezers being too difficult/ not cost effective to remove, and so even once the dividing wall went up on the once Super K Mart r...

Re: News & Discussion: Laneway & Streetscape Projects

Unrelated to the topic but regarding the above, the Rockford redevelopment concept had a giant tv wall on this side of the building. The inset for the screen was built in but they obviously changed their mind as this is where they have painted the Sia portrait. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

UniSA have nothing to do with it. The logo on the building was for exposure only and has deteriorated over the years.

Re: News & Developments: Prospect

Does anybody know what's happening with Coles at Churchill Centre? They have closed the 'Mix' clothing area and downsized the store footprint by about one fifth of what it was so it feels a lot smaller than it did when it opened. Seems like a drastic change for what is the state's newest store so cl...

A Reddit user snuck into Level 5 Myer Centre last week and posted this lengthy video. At one stage you can see down into Level 4 and some of the walls they have put up there.

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

Ventured into Harris Scarfe in Rundle Place this afternoon which was rather quiet considering the Christmas shopping period. - The cafe on level 2 is no longer in operation - looks like it's been this way for a while. - The front lift will no longer take you to level 2. There is no indication of thi...

Re: News & Developments: Port Adelaide

IGA and Atlantic Video is reportedly being restored as an IGA branded Foodland, while the existing Foodland down the road will take on the generic 'Drakes' name as part of them pulling out of their partnership with Metcash (Foodland/IGA). The corner is rumoured to be a multi-storey building with sho...

I walk past daily for work and should be able to get adjacent rooftop pictures once the build commences. Dont risk your life for us!

Re: University of South Australia - Developments and News

The fences are down this morning and whilst you can't get inside yet, you can get close enough to see the ground floor foyer and hall.
