Re: 3D Billboards

I've been living in Jakarta, back and forth to Adelaide, the past year and 3d billboards are literally everywhere there. Theyre not a huge project but I guess in the Australian context, they're a big deal.
The lantern was always a half baked idea and cheaply made.

I agree. Whoever was involved in the planning and management of such a beautiful building should receive an award. Groundbreaking progress for sustainable livelihoods. :applause:

I don't know the exact story about why this didnt occur but it would have been nice if either Libs or Labor followed in on their plan for trams down Grote St instead of the drama about a right hand turn on KW and North Terrace, might have helped office demand in this space but oh well.

This site literally changes every 24 hours.

The column framing going in for the next floor and being poured since this time yesterday :)
Well I always say, a good job is a quick job. My wife disagrees but I stand by my statement.

[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Incl. 115m Tower | $800 million

I did a 20km run yesterday running from Lochiel Park near Paradise to the City and back. Linear park is relatively cool so it was nice on a 23 degree day. However, I went up some stairs and through Festival Plaza and the heat amplified majorly. It felt like it was 15 degrees warmer then by the Torre...

I love how residents get all up in arms when a development happens on Rundle St, but when Walker proposes one in front of our Sunrise weather report snapshot, not even a whimper.

Wheres the rest of it? Right? Imagine that, having had your branding on (formerly) one of Adelaide's tallest buildings for close to 20 years (if not longer) only then to relocate to a new premises and have a tiny logo on a less prominent building that you're sharing the naming rights wi...

So exciting! Looking forward to this. When MicBara says "managing traffic", would that mean moving the lane briefly onto the North Terrace tramlines? Navigating that would be difficult with how close the site is to the University stop. I remember Adelaidean took up a couple of lanes on Fro...

If this was serious, it should have been proposed 5 years ago when they were considering extending the tram. Clearly this is a case of trying to rise the land value and nothing else.

All I can say is that we can blame this on the Chinese developer having a tough time with property and finances at the moment. If the Freemasons bail on their tower for similar reasons, something is seriously wrong in Adelaide Yeah Nah this isn’t it. Never have we ever had two serious propisals of ...

I genuinely want to know what makes this aquatic centre "world class". Just looked up the definition of world class, Miriam Webster defines it as being "of the highest calibre in the world". If I was a swimmer, what would draw me to this aquatic centre over other places? There a...
