[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

I'm not sure I buy the argument that we're going to need more big roads in the future to cope with increased congestion. In fact I would say there is a strong argument that we're approaching peak congestion with the rapidly impending semi-automation and eventual full-automation of vehicles. Especial...

construction should start in a few weeks
How do you know that just out of interest? I can't see anything on the website that suggests it's progressing - the status is still showing as 'in design' which has been the case since at least as far back as January 2018.

No mention of the Port Dock spur in the budget - was that already covered by a previous budget?

why do we keep extending into the parklands! What parklands have been lost in the last 50 years or so? The nRAH and proposed Women's & Children's are being built on former rail yard land (as was the Convention Centre), the oRAH site will result in a net gain to parklands, the Festival Plaza area et...

A few from today. I didn't get a picture of it but it looks like the fire services area has been tidied up little - the whole area is painted silver now and the signage seems to be straight. From close up it certainly doesn't seem like the highest quality external finishes have been used, but it's n...

From what I can tell, the wall in question is an unreinforced shotcrete sloped wall which relies on gravity (i.e. it's own weig...
