[COM] Re: West Franklin | 54m & 64m | 17 & 20 lvls | Apartments

I'm still amazed that there's been no attempt at setting up a Woolworths Metro or Coles Express at the Adelaide Railway Station (or in the underpass / Station Arcade). ^ Absolutely this. I would have thought it would be a no-brainer. Perhaps there isn't the space for it - I'm not really sure what s...

Am on a single car train to Outer Harbour - I knew they were running these on the Grange line but it's a first for me on the OH line. More Lib cuts I guess... 🙁

[PRO] Re: Goodwood/Springbank/Daws Road Intersection

There's no reason Peter Van couldn't wrangle a deal with the government to relocate to a new building on the corner next to the high school where the existing road will be removed. Might work out cheaper for the government. Would be a shame to lose the green space though. How about the area where t...

[VIS] Re: Memorial Drive upgrade

It's relatively cheap. It improves the facilities and precinct. We gain an international tournament.

Not a bad short-term investment but hopefully there will be some decent long-term plans mooted for the precinct at some point in the next 10 years.

[VIS] Re: Memorial Drive upgrade

All your points are valid. I just think we should embrace this upgrade and enjoy having proper Tennis back in our fair City. The upgrade is only half finished. Can't we at least judge it once it is finished and the tournament has been played out. Just because it is not the upgrade we first wished f...

Re: The SA Politics Thread

Hopefully... Has the result of the next South Australian election already been determined? The re-election prospects of the first term Marshall Liberal Government have been dealt a major blow, after it was defeated on a bill in Parliament. No, it's not contentious land tax changes, which have caused...

I'm noticing a pattern of mysterious blowouts to projects to conveniently justify the government canning them. I wonder if Knoll would care to release the detailed planning that explains them?
I was just about to say the same thing. Very convenient.

That's amazing - I used to cycle past that building every day and think what good potential it had. Really excited to see it being restored 😀
