From Montefiore Rd Bridge:

From the Outer Harbor greenway. This is pretty much the same view as you get travelling in to the city via Port Road - it makes quite an impact from this angle.

Re: News & Discussion: Laneway & Streetscape Projects

It's been getting progressively worse for a while, but as I walked along that bit of North Tce last week as well as the bad cracking, about half the pavers I stepped on wobbled or shifted a bit under my feet. I can't remember if work vehicles or heavy building materials were being driven or stored ...

Re: University of South Australia | Developments & News

Would it be expected that UoA would buy the bulk of City East? Can they afford it and would this alter their own plans for their campus in terms of building upwards in certain pockets of their campus? I would imagine the suitable option would be for UoA to buy the campus and move their facilities o...

I once read speculation of Ryan Air coming here...
Jesus, I hope not - am not particularly keen on an airline with half the frills and legroom as Tiger.

Re: Deregulation of Shop Trading Hours

The 24 hour supermarkets that I've worked in before have generally had dedicated overnight replenishment teams meaning that 70-80% of restocking is undertaken at night when customer traffic is low. Daytime restocking is usually just gap filling as required or picking up what the night team couldn't ...

Re: Beer Garden

I wonder if one potential positive to this will be an increase in flexible working across the board? So many organisations all over the world who have never really embraced remote working (mine included) are now being forced into this by the current situation. Once it becomes apparent that many jobs...

I remember reading about this a while ago - from memory it will be reused on the Lot 14 site but not in the same place and not necessarily in a continuous length.

As always, feedback is welcomed! Keep left unless overtaking  But seriously, lane discipline in this video is shocking - I'd wager that the same video taken in any European country would be entirely different. Hopefully when the N-S motorway is completed the government of the day will invest ...

I'm yet to think of a building there that would make much difference here, let alone be iconic. Any other examples of what we should be aspiring to here? I've said it before, Portsmouth's Spinnaker Tower (or something like it) would look awesome here: https://www.elizabeth-foundation.org/wp-content...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Buses

This approach works well here in Perth, however keep in mind the lines here have stations spaced 5km apart Only on the Mandurah and Joondalup lines - the Fremantle, Armadale and Midland lines all have station spacing at around the 600m-2km mark just like Adelaide. Some of the station spacing looks ...

Does anyone know what's going on with those pop-up tenancies on the ramp by the way? Only Elementary ever seems to be open regularly now, and the makeup place sporadically - the others popped up, traded for a week and then seem to have remained shut ever since.

Having a greater thoroughfare would bring more people to the area, people want a vibrant port adelaide but minimal population movement in the streets? What a pain in the bum it is sitting at stvincent lights trying to turn right back onto commercial road after crossing the bridge A direct throughfa...
