Re: cladding on telstra building waymouth st

Some interesting (well, to me anyway) history of this building:

It seems a bit weird to think that in its heyday over 1200 people worked in this windowless box.

Obviously not, but I doubt anyone would be able to get any sort of charge laid on that video alone - nor would they waste time trying.

Re: The SA Politics Thread

if it's true, then Speirs should be charged and convicted, and whoever was holding the camera charged with being some kind of accessory. Despite it being obvious as to what was going on, I don't think there's any actual evidence a crime was committed - let alone anything solid enough to charge anyo...

I'd prefer not to have coke addicts as our political leaders thanks. I've seen nothing to suggest he's an addict. I suspect a good proportion of pollies enjoy recreational drugs and/or alcohol on a regular basis. tbh I'd rather have someone who indulges in the odd line in his downtime at home over ...

For anyone interested, here's a fairly good summary I read today in the Future Campus newsletter ( https://futurecampus.com.au/ ). Overall, the reduction in international student starts for 2025 appear to be in line with an unspoken game plan orchestrated by the Government, for the nation’s most hig...

Re: News & Developments: Bowden TOD

Story is a bit misleading. Plans haven't changed, this is pretty much what's been intended since the original vision was released — what is happening is that some changes need to be made to the code in order to allow what is within the plan, and the process for that mandates that it needs to go out...

I understand the heating and cooling issues but in my opinion I would have loved it if they had completely refurbished the pool area and the outside gardens and then rebuilt the front section of the centre with a new reception and changing areas. The indoor/outdoor nature of the centre when all of t...
