For me this is the best of the city central buildings so far, simply due to the quality and reflectiveness of the glazing 8) The ATO building second, and ANZ House third (those windows filled with blinds just horrible).

Thanks for the stats.

I don't see any reason why international traffic through Adelaide couldn't hit the 2 million mark in the next 10-15 years, you'd imagine they'd be aiming big. It's been shown demand is there if the flights are made available.

Yeah I read that last night. Appointed by the developer, Commercial & General. I thought C&G is also a builder :?: So wonder who's signage would go on the crane(s)?

I think one thing that sunk Labor towards the end was due to their climate change policies, particularly emissions targets. I think the upstairs area of the old casino really lets it down most of all. With regards to the lower level, i've taken a few friends from interstate over the years and they all comment on the architecture of the building, in particular the ornate ceilings.

Good on him I say, some local entrepreneurial spirit taking a punt on the Adelaide market. I hope it succeeds.

From memory it was a similar story with 115 King William Street, it'd be interesting to know how much of that building is now leased.

Article in todays online 'Tiser that Luigi Delicatessen (rated Adelaide's number 1 eatery on Tripadvisor), will be moving from Flinders Street to the ground level of this building in late July.
