[COM] Re: Main North Road/Nottage Terrace Intersection Upgrade

The Clearway should be a permanent third lane southbound and that vacant land on eastern side of main north road can be used for bus inlet, truck delivery and any short term customer parking

[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

Cars waiting to turn right at ridiculously small intersections is the bane of my driving life. On major roads like Unley Road, many cars park in the left lane, while others block the right lane while waiting to make right turns at every little cross street, making it very hard for through traffic t...

Re: News & Discussion: Roads & Traffic

I would say another area that needs upgrading is Kings Rd from Salisbury highway to Bolivar Rd it will only get worse with Northern connector traffic along with the section from Bolivar Rd to Liberator drive roundabout all this needs to be duplicated/widened and some roundabouts enlarged or replaced...

Extending the M2 across the Onkaparinga river, over Seaford Rd and Robinson Rd (at both ends) makes sense after/whilst the rest is done

Re: Adelaide Oval news and events

Given Adelaide or Pt. Moresby are currently the two remaining candidates for 2026 Commonwealth games and the Oval is earmarked for use in any successful bid. If Adelaide does succeed and accept do you think they be able to carefully augment/extend the western stand keeping lower level parts intact w...

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

Will news of potential Roseworthy/St Yves urban development mean a Gawler (spur line) train extension? Surely this should be part and parcel of any such project - given there is already a defunct rail line to Roseworthy.

Re: U/C: Electrification & Upgrade of the Adelaide Rail Network

Whilst the Gawler Line Electrification is happening they should close some stations, it will speed up train services and reduce station maintenance costs. Stations that should be closed Dudley Park Kilburn Greenfields Parafield Gardens Chidda Broadmeadows Agree that stations that do not directly se...

[U/C] Re: News & Discussion: South Road / North-South Corridor

They could try splitting the motorway from Edwardstown to Emerson and build them in two stages. - using the east side of railway tce to near Ackland St/Raglan St and switch back for the northbound route- tricky with the existing cross rd bridge would need to take those business on NW corner of that ...

Re: Adelaide Oval news and events

If the indicative dates for the Day/night Ashes match next year is anything to go by (Dec-2-6) then this is partially a disaster for Adelaide from a scheduling point of view. http://www.cricket.com.au/news/ashes-2017-18-schedule-day-night-ashes-test-gabba-adelaide-waca-mcg-scg/2016-12-01 Ashes 2017-...

[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment

Thanks for that diagram, if they go ahead with the Oval 2 expansion, the north east corner is the ideal place to put amenities that can back onto the members area (dual use). The verandah/sheds are no longer there. The southwest corner for more seating and possibly a scoreboard. The terrace level ba...

[COM] Re: Adelaide Oval Redevelopment

Hopefully if they build something in the indicated position as per diagram that they can arrange fencing (adjustable if needed) so some of the amenities are available (particularly toilets) during near capacity events at Adelaide Oval. Some of the facilities under the members area (toilets etc) don'...

Re: News & Discussion: Road Issues & Traffic Congestion

The intersection of Nottage Tce and Main Nth Rd has land currently being redeveloped on the Western side. Part of this could've been used to widen the intersection. If only they could also remove the temporary parking on the eastern side, south bound on Main Nth Rd from the intersection to Robe Tce....
