[COM] Re: Northern Connector | 14km | $1b
Wouldn't they just be referring to each section as they are being built, regarding things like "northern interchange"...? Surely when the whole corridor is complete, they will have specific names for each significant part. The road signs are already up, but covered over, at Waterloo Corne...

Noticed tonight the large gum trees at regency park tafe are coming down ready for r2p. And only a handful of businesses to be demolished. Pretty much all the residential buildings along the corridor have been levelled

Some night works this week, getting ready for closure of the temporary superway to salisbury highway off ramp and moving to the new flyover offramp. Would be nice if it was 2 lanes but me thinks only 1 Will it be the new flyover that opens on Monday morning after the last night of closures? I doubt...

[U/C] Re: Torrens Road Grade Separation
If so, the ramp may need to climb to about 8 metres above the railway to allow clearance for double-stacked freight trains as well as the thickness of the bridge deck. The start of the ramp would already be about 2 metres above the level of the railway line, which means it needs to climb another 6 ...

[U/C] Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport Service & Policy
I don’t see why Churchill Road would need to be grade separated as well? The intersection with Torrens Road could still be a standard T junction, but it would require a lot of earthworks to lift it up at least 5 or so metres from its current level in order to provide an appropriate slope for the ov...

Demo’s will continue all this year (ie Croydon Kings soccer club has until the end of their season before they need to vacate). I think construction is from early 2020 and take until the end of 2022 for completion. The main job is the overpass. It will be interesting if they assemble a bridge/overp...
