Over the past few years i have noticed all the overhead powerlines along prospect road have been undergrounded and new light poles installed as far north as grand junction iirc. This could purely be for aesethic reasons or it could be in preperation for tram overheads

What have they done? South rd has changed to 2 x lanes northbound, 2 x lanes right turn into Regency. Was previously 3 x northbound, 1 x right turn. They were servicing points in victoria square tuesday last week. Im assuming its a regular service for the whole network. Now that the new section has been handed over for operation they would be included in the service contract, regardless of the fact they have only been in operarion a few weeks

However, as the electrification project has now been extended to Gawler, more new electric railcars will be required to keep the service as efficient as possible by not mixing fast, electric trains with slow diesel trains. What makes you think the 3000 class railcars are slower than the 4000 class?...

The original brocure had stated that trams would be operational by 'late first quarter 2018'

Since this will finish ahead of schedule, when will work start on the Pym Street to Regency Road section? Can we just get a little time without roadworks on that area of the N/S corridor?
