Re: Former LeCornu Redevelopment | Mixed Use

Unfortunately your argument contradicts itself. You say it's a great time to buy in Perth and then you say that prices may fall a bit more. That's not a very good business case. There's too much risk at the moment. Investing in the other cities would be a much more secure investment. claybro is not...

DAC are expected to approve this at Thursday meeting. Just a general question. The blank walls reach level 22 on both sides. The top (penthouse) levels have windows. Is there then some rule or law that any new development to either the left or right of this can not exceed 22 levels in height as the...

[COM] Re: Colonial Mutual Building > Mayfair Hotel

Has anyone been to the rooftop bar ? Is it like 2KW ? I was given a guided tour by the overly pretentious concierge a few months ago. He was so proud of the fact that its 1 metre higher up than 2KW. Anyway, its an OK bar, nice rooftop area and it has a dedicated smokers balcony. IMO, 2KW is better....

From the VUE facebook page https://fbcdn-photos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-xlp1/t31.0-0/p640x640/13173071_1573855859574443_4221566248357076807_o.jpg Clearly photoshopped. Everything ( except the sky) is in grayscale. The trees are black, and the yellow and blue of the adjacent building is washed o...

I'm with you guys in giving this one a big thumbs up. :applause: I especially like how the upper floor 3 bed apartments all come with an internal dedicated storage room inside the apartment. Good planning. I'm a big fan of the East End but I'm still a bit 'iffy' on that part of Pirie street though....

I bet the original builders of this house had no idea that one day, way in the future, it would end up on concrete stilts.

A development like this, if well executed, could well be a catalyst for the block to see some retail/service businesses move in. That said I don't subscribe to the idea that these buildings need to be surrounded only by cafes and independent supermarkets. If you look down your nose at strip clubs a...

Am I missing something here. An apartment situated over the road from green parklands, a 5 min walk to Rundle St East, a 7 min walk to Hutt St cafes, and people are saying that its in a iffy spot. WTF. By the way, the homeless are spread throughout the city. Ive walked past this site many times at ...
