Less traffic in January.

Hopefully they take this opportunity to increase the number of lanes on the superway just south of the grand junction road onramp up to 3

[PRO] Re: [PRO] Re: Ovingham Level Crossing Removal

I really hope they don't go with rail under road, when there is a whole chunk of land to the north side they can use for road over rail. Ummmm... if the railway goes under the road, isn't that the same as the road going over the railway, just depending on the perspective of whether the observer is ...

[PRO] Re: [PRO] Re: Torrens Road Grade Separation

(TrebleSketch)Currently, the future of Overland beyond the end of this year is uncertain. As you can't book any tickets next year now, due to the uncertainty of funding from both the SA Libs and Vic Lab governments. I would prefer train over coach any day if I were to be travelling between the two ...

The same way they've budgeted $61 million to add a couple lanes to the Fullarton Rd/Cross Rd intersection.

The same way Flinders link went from $85m to $125m

[U/C] Re: [U/C] Re: Northern Connector | 14km | $1b

Some night works this week, getting ready for closure of the temporary superway to salisbury highway off ramp and moving to the new flyover offramp. Would be nice if it was 2 lanes but me thinks only 1 Will it be the new flyover that opens on Monday morning after the last night of closures? I doubt...

[U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

Assuming 21m total width (so maths is easy), 6x 3m lanes (really narrow, most roads are at least 3.3) 2x 1m shoulder, 1x 1m centre median. Increasing to 3.3m lanes increases the required width by over 2m which won't fit.

[U/C] [U/C] Re: [U/C] Re: North-South Motorway

doesn't gallipoli underpass need to be widened? Uninformed guess; reduce the width of the median strip and convert the bike/emergency lanes, provides for a 3rd land on each side? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The Gallipoli underpass is about 20m wide and the T2T motorway is about 25m wide Edit...
