[COM] Re: $216m program to create six super schools

still no news on this, although the www.educationworks.sa.edu.au website seems to have dropped the PPP section off it - methinks that mr foley might be pushing this project back further in the budget - there is no way that the smithfield superschool is going to be finished in 2010 - it hasnt started

Re: #PRO: City Busway - O-Bahn to West Tce

For $61 million, around 4km or more of the southern expressway could have been duplicated. This is a pointless project, what is the $61 million for? Road marking? They arent even running the obahn track, its just a busway, half of the money will be spent on traffic control during construction, its a...

[COM] Re: South Road Upgrade

there was no mention of the $500mil for South Road in the Federal Budget that the Advertiser reported last week - infact, there was no new road funding for South Australia.

I cant seem to find the detailed list of projects in the budget on the website, does anybody know where to find it?

omnicron - thanks for the info, but i would suggest that building even a single R-12 school in 12 months would be almost impossible.

[COM] Re: $216m program to create six super schools

what has happened to this - given that the first school is due to open next year, there hasn't been any action on it

perhaps the funding has gotten complicated?

looks like this one has missed out on this round of funding... SOUTH Australia will receive $1.7 billion for road upgrades as part of the largest federal transport infrastructure investment in Australia's history. The states and the territories have signed up to the agreement, which will see $26.4 b...

Re: Adelaide - City of Talk?

what is the issue that people have with glass towers? its about time somebody said it, but again, i doubt much will come of it, we will continue to be stuck in second gear in Adelaide. And how much it annoys me when people prattle on about the fringe, its every defence to critisism about Adelaide "o...
