[COM] Re: 413 KWS Vue on King William | 89m | 28Lvl | Residential

Not saying they are wrong to file the suit but I lived in a level 15 apartment in Melbourne for a few years and even in winter I would sometimes have to use the air con. I always just thought it was part and parcel of living higher up...hot air rises, you are in a structure made of glass and steel, ...

What's more impressive is that this north-east cluster, the southern cluster around KW St/South Tce and the CBD core proper each taken on their own essentially form 3 distinct skylines for Adelaide!

2 billion hey.

Thats a pretty big ESL increase right there.
I presume it would come from the same kitty as the libs pie in the sky monarto freight hub and the redundant road/rail corridor which goes with it.

Re: News & Discussion: Electricity Infrastructure

Meanwhile, an Australian energy company has hit out at the South Australian government over its plan to launch the world's largest virtual power plant that will see at least 50,000 homes in South Australian given solar panels and batteries. ShineHub — a Sydney based company — claims it was the firs...

Is there any reason for the massive axpanse of concrete between the tracks north of nth Terrace? There is no crossover. It does not look the best.
I'm assuming (hoping) that there will be some landscaping including flower/bush plantings between the tracks, hence the large gap.

The Citi Centre Arcade Telstra Shop closed yesterday (Wednesday Jan 31), they were already taking their signs down off the building at 7.00PM. They will be reopening in the old BankSA building (opposite RMP) in April, it looks as though they will be using multiple levels of this building, I imagine...

Not bad. I wish some of these 'tall' proposals would have interesting shaped roof lines though. At the moment we are in for a monotonous boxy skyline.

[U/C] Re: Festival Plaza Redevelopment | $800 million

Can anyone confirm whether there is new permanent feature lighting for the AFC? I drove past on Saturday night and caught a quick glimpse of what looked like some really nice lighting/projections along the roof lines. Haven't been able to find a pic but here is a mockup of what (I'm pretty sure) it ...

The thing is for a project like this a commercial builder wont have even started unless the financing was guaranteed for the project and a big down payment of say 10-20 % of the job is made. I would think there was an iron-clad guarantee with the bank/financiers that the money was in place before t...

This one was never gonna be pretty, but it helps justifying it as the price we had to pay for a potential new tallest in the Adelaidean .

I believe some will also be moved to the Fat Controller. Just go on their FB page if you are that concerned.

Amazing work! I was so surprised to see that a stub ran to Unley Oval along Oxford Tce.

Did the Goodwood Road tram ran under the underpass or over the top?

As exciting as this development is I think we will find that the land for Tower 2 (taller tower) will be sold off with DA before it gets developed - if ever.

Re: News & Discussion: Trams

I still think the most simple plan is best.....north-south line Riverbank to Glenelg, east west line Entertainment Centre to East End. The problem with this plan is that anyone travelling the Glenelg line and being destined to a location west of the KW St intersection will suddenly lose the amenity...
