[U/C] Re: Currie/Rosina St | 110m | 32lvl | Sofitel

This is seriously good news, a new 32 storey hotel for the Adelaide CBD, that is really significant, as in Adelaide "turning a corner" significant. Along with Vue on King William this represents the potential "new" Adelaide. Goodbye to the "old" Adelaide of perennial "closures and doom and gloom" He...

All light rail/tram s...

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport

Its 4.20 pm and already the 11 car trains are shoulder to shoulder with passengers......Tokyo rush hour......mind boggling
And another smart way the Japanese incorporate technology into the public transport experience (like interoperability of different cities smart transport cards)

Dissenting view - I don't like it!
Wrong location, better off somewhere around Victoria Square.
Basically the design says 'Fuck you!" to all the heritage buildings surrounding the base.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Airport & Airlines

Yep, took a closer look.....yes you are right, there appears to be a small covered walkway..... that doesn't make it all the way to the terminal building and it looks very narrow and open to the weather. I still am of the sentiment "not good enough".

Modern airports seem to be all about maximum revenue raising from retail/shopping and car parks....oh and yes, pl...
