This is the behind doors opinion at several tenancies at Marion as well who are not happy about this.

[COM] Re: REJ: 377 - 379 King William St | 32m | 8 lvls | Apartmen

The building was generic and nothing exciting at all, but at the same time with the current state of the site I don't see how it isn't an improvement. If we want to have more people living in the CBD projects like this will definitely help do it. If that side of town never becomes anything grand, th...

As usual, pity it's not taller. :| I agree. It's a shame that large floor plates are in vogue, because at 36 500 sqm2, we would have most likely got a 40 level building back in the 80s/90s. Yeah, but there is always a silver lining, and that lining in this case is that a massive area of land has no...

[PRO] Re: #ONH: Westfield Marion Expansion | $280m | 150,000sqm

perhaps as part of approving paid parking, the marion council should require westfield to pay for 2-3 hour parking limit signs to be placed around nearby suburbia, and for the cost to council & residents to implement a local resident parking exemption system. Why should Westfield be required to pay...

Re: UniSA CBD | SWP: City West learning cntr | PRO: City Eas

Looks like George St has been closed from Nth Tce @ the city west site so might see some work begining on this as well. I don't want to rain on the parade, but I imagine George St. is shut due to Laneway Festival (which is this evening) as opposed to this part of the development starting. Yup, I go...

Looking at the image source as well shows they are images which were already shown off six months ago.

[COM] Re: Adelaide Convention Centre, Casino & Riverbank Developme

If it was just the convention centre being upgraded I would agree that a most consistent look would be best, but since the plan is to upgrade the entire riverbank area having one big uniform convention centre could have overshadowed everything else.

Nothing spectacular, but definitely better than a plain box, and it fits in well with the Myer Center next door and it's collision of buildings.

[COM] Re: #VIS: Oaklands Rail Overpass

The locals who currently drive to Oaklands Station will surely not be very happy with this layout, nor will the residents owning homes that would need to be resumed for this to happen. The number of signalised intersections proposed seems excessive, some of them don't need to be there. If this is t...

Re: My Vision (zoning, dev, transportation,..)

You need to adjust your numbers for the tram and train stops! In a high density area you could easily have more people than that living in a single street.

I visit Rundle Mall regularly and I couldn't actually tell you what the pavers look like, nor do I know anyone who has ever commented about the pavers in the mall.

They should certainly be safe, but other than that there are far better ways of spending money to improve the mall.

Maybe it just reminds me of something else, I dunno.
It's fairly generic really for an apartment building, just looks like a scaled up version of what you would find in Mawson Lakes.
