[APP] Re: 292-300 Rundle Street | 79m | 23 Levels | Mixed Use

I'm all for high rise all over the city, the east end in my opinion is the perfect location for residential high rise. Saying that, Rundle street has a really unique feel that should be preserved. I think leave the shop fronts on Rundle street as is. As long as the high rise are built behind the fi...

Re: News & Discussion: CBD Retail

I actually think that this site would be perfect for a brand like H&M. They seem to like multi story heritage building here in Australia and Europe. And lets face it, north terrace needs all the help it can get.

[COM] Re: 260 Flinders Street | 78m/64m | 25/23 Levels | Mixed Use

Wouldn't you agree that it would be better to have the main bedroom at the top with the window and move the study down to the living room. Again, the main bedroom has a floor to ceiling glass wall and no window. Why do this? This design is purely for a short term resident. Why not design something ...

Ok thanks everybody! I found another example of what I mean. This apartment is for sale as a 2 bedroom apartment. floorplan1 (1).jpg Wouldn't you agree that it would be better to have the main bedroom at the top with the window and move the study down to the living room. Thanks for that info. I agree with you and I would never buy an apartment with bedrooms with no windows. This is poor design. Maybe have a look at Kodo. I just bought one in there and all the bedrooms have windows as far as I know. I checked out the Kodo floor plans on the www.dac.sa.gov.au pdf. Yo...

It might just be a poor illustration - if it bothers you so much why don't you just ring up the developer and complain. Are you one of these "sustainable population party" sheep? Listen; 1) I'm no sheep! 2) I was sent that illustration from the developer. Maybe you need to learn how to read a floor...

I'm going to guess that the thin lines indicate floor to ceiling glass, rather than all windows. It's pretty obvious that the. bedroom in B1 for instance has a light well running to the bottom right corner. You might be right about B1, but the other 3 all have no external window, just floor to ceil...

Nathan wrote:Are you sure? The only room that looks like it might not be abutting an external wall is in Type A1, and that's assuming that the 'common sky park' doesn't act as a light well.
You can tell by the thin glass internal wall. TYPE D1, C2, B1 and A1

Hi Guys! I'm new to this forum. I too love this development. But like so many new apartment builds here in Adelaide the floor plans lack livability. By that i mean so many apartments have been designed with bedrooms with NO external window. Only windows facing into the apartment. Now before you all ...
