[COM] Re: Torrens Footbridge | $40m

Still running Wed 6:45am... I did notice it last Friday evening, so let's hope it stays that way. Some guys working on the bridge reeling this morning, not sure what they were doing (fixing light strips, prep Deco, etc) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20230321/a8654516fb359c8c8c026bff554b430f.jpg S...

Can anyone explain to me what's the major difference between the private paddock in North Adelaide and this? Why not relocate those horses as well and return the paddock in North Adelaide to everyone? Sent from my ASUS_AI2202 using Tapatalk Historically a lot of the parklands were used for animal g...

Agreed. I'm still adamant that the best location would be on Port Road somewhere as others have said. Ambulances can use the tram corridor, so I don't buy the lack of access there either. So who will give way and move out of the way, the tram or the ambulance? I am still surprised that the tram cor...

Re: News & Discussion: Low/Mid-Rise CBD Development

There really should be a supermarket every 500 metres in Adelaide city (ie the square mile). Unfortunately at the present time this can not be justified because the population density is too low.....and people will not move into the city if local services aren't convenient. Chicken and the egg argu...

Wonder what Supermarket they ever expected to have in there. Unless they were hoping for Woolworths to move in there don't seem to be any other suitable potential tenants.

Makes me suspect they always wanted to do this.
Aldi doesn't have a CBD location yet.

The 60 King William building currently under construction also mentions a supermarket, though not much more detail about size or brand. The main supermarket brand missing is obviously ALDI... they strategically surrounded the CBD with stores but seemingly don't venture to put one actually into the c...

No, it's parallel to Flinders, so it will be some walkway / plaza / garden below the bridge.
