[VIS] Re: [VIS] Re: New Womens and Childrens Hospital

Also, imagine failing so hard at the planning of this project that a rail station isn't even considered as part of it. Agreed. Both a tram stop near the main entrance and a railway station to the immediate north of the Port Road bridge would ensure that the entirety of ‘BioMed City’ is easily acces...

There seems to be some continued minor early works. Mobile crane on site today.

Also, imagine failing so hard at the planning of this project that a rail station isn't even considered as part of it.

Re: News & Discussion: Public Transport Contracts, Service & Policy

Even many minor railway stations on the Sydney network i.e. Asquith have at least a shop in the vicinity. We still have one or two stations without even a housing estate nearby, but the government wants to "release for housing" vacant land miles from everything. I'm not sure why we have p...

[COM] Re: Festival Plaza Incl. 115m Tower | $800 million

I would go as far as saying that if they are trying to sneak a second tower in instead of the lower restaurants/bars that were presented and are more more in fitting with this being a public space, that it should be more of an open tender/offer for bids from multiple parties. That won't happen howe...

[PRO] Re: [PRO] Re: Westfield Marion (2019/20 Extension)

The massive redevelopment of Event Cinemas is now underway. Vmax cinemas currently being refitted along with a few others with the rest to follow. Gold Class and Candy Bar areas will also be completely gutted and rebuilt in the next year or two. I couldn't find anything on this, would be cool to se...

[PRO] Re: Masonic Lodge | 183m | 37 Levels | Mixed Use

I'm interested in the thoughts of you blokes (and ladies). The reason we went with two rather than one is: 1) Symmetry - the Freemasons love symmetry they have lots of references and reflections on the importance of it (I don't know much more than that, I just know it's really important to them) an...

This is the first agreeable planning issue I have heard Champion speak of, so credit where it is due.

The next step will be to improve building materials used in construction.

[COM] Re: [Fullarton] Living Choice | $112m

This thread title can be updated. Development plans for the former Julia Farr Centre in Fullarton have been unveiled, after the prime inner-suburban site was sold for $42 million. The 2.8-hectare plot of land at 103 Fisher Street, Fullarton has been sold to aged care providers Living Choice and Opal...
