[U/C] Re: [PRO] Re: Ovingham Level Crossing Removal | $231m

Checked DIT's website today to see if there was any news....only this from late January: On 18 January 2021, the State and Federal governments announced the contract award for the delivery phase of the project. “A consortium of McConnell Dowell Constructors (Aust) Pty Ltd, Mott MacDonald Australia P...

[COM] Re: 203 North Terrace | 119m | 35 levels | Student Accom

It is disappointing this building isn't broken up with much larger windows. As it stands it's very bulky. My preference would have been for a quality glass-only exterior skin rising above the old building below. It is quite common, in the UK for example, to deliberately use very modern materials (st...

Re: Beer Garden

The advertising code went a bit mental... google adsense has this feature called Auto-Ads, then it puts it pretty much wherever it thinks it's going to get most number of clicks. I've taken back control, it 'should' only present under the banner once now. Still a few other bugs to sort out with thi...

What’s with all the ads on this site now? And the new design isn’t as good as previous. On a mobile the ads dominate too much

2000 jobs is an impressive figure. We had a labor government for about 10 years and they were never able to lure big companies to setup in adelaide.
Up to 2000 jobs over 5 years. Impressive for Adelaide. Would love to see more of this more frequently

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

I actually would prefer that Hove be eliminated and Warradale be rebuilt further west. Hove, Warradale, and Oaklands are all too close together. I doubt there is a lot of interchange between the train line and bus passengers along Brighton Road.....happy to be corrected if someone can provide some ...

Like most DPTI projects in SA, this one is going at snails pace. Quite possibly the most inefficient department there is.

Re: News & Discussion: Adelaide Metro Trains

Hoping Warradale station will be scrapped as a part of the rail separation project at Brighton Road. Hove station should be retained as it has better links to buses along Brighton Road.
