We had those in my year 5 class. If you rip their legs off they grow back.

I won't be seeing it specifically because I went to the school it was filmed at.

It'd be totally whacked.

I'd be like "that is NOT the fucking science room DAMNIT!"

The podium adresses the neighbouring apartment building quite well. It's rare to see that in new developments in Adelaide.

SA Government is the biggest customer in the state, and has a policy to use 5 star green rated buildings, so to not achieve that rating is financial suicide for the developer!

What really gets my goat is that developers are given permission to build windows right to the edge of the site. No doubt if the adjacent land holders tried developing their land, they'd meet stiff protest from the apartment owners facing the prospect of a brick wall 2cm from the window.

Just digging though the old stuff, dusting off some old threads. Does anyone (Will?) know what happened to the idea of more office and car parks above City Cross Arcade? I take it that it has been shelved for now. Cheers. The tower never made it in to the final design stage. There's no foundation s...

It's a shame he Brookman building doesn't actually interface with North Terrace, so the boulevard is of no use as a northern approach route to the University. In my 3 years at that campus i'd never actually walked in front of the building. I either enter from Frome, or through the dingy alley way be...

However, Opposition infrastructure spokesman Martin Hamilton-Smith said the latest move was a signal the Government was focusing on the wrong priorities. "We need a whole new approach on infrastructure," he said. "If the tram is the Government's highest priority, it's dumb - and to e...

Nice dirt.

That building in the background.... the ones with the balconies... what a shocker. I don't know if this has been fixed, but 10 years ago those balconies slanted heavily. Like, keep your balance or you'll roll off. Scared the crap out of me.

I think it's cool news from the perspective that it's always fun to see new trends developing. I'm also a keen environmentalist so of course I support renewable energy initiatives. What worries me though though is that we'll rapidly reach the point at which wind energy is of diminishing use to us. W...
